Ripley Town Centre gives joy to all

10 December 2018

This Christmas, Ripley Town Centre will play host to a spectacular line-up of events and activities designed to bring the community together.

The celebrations commenced with Santa’s arrival parade on Saturday 24 November with the support of the RAAF band, elves, fairies and stilt walkers bringing the Centre to life with fun and festivity. A beautiful tree and decorations adorn Satoyama Way, creating the perfect backdrop for the community to stay, play, and enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

Running until Christmas Eve, activities include free child minding, kids Christmas workshops and ongoing cheer and entertainment.

With the aim of reawakening the true meaning of Christmas, the centre will promote the sentiment of ‘giving back for the greater good’ with the Defence Force Care Package Drive. The drive invites the local community to donate non-perishable gifts for Australian soldiers serving overseas.

Staff at Ripley Town Centre will also be performing random acts of kindness, handing out gift cards and other items to customers to thank them for visiting the Centre.
