Sanctuary construction updates

06 August 2018

Sekisui House is working hard to accommodate the concerns of cyclists and the community and we have approached Parramatta Council with proposed alternative cycleway routes, after the cycleway between Footbridge Boulevard and Burroway Road was temporarily closed in late June.

Currently, SOPA has invited cyclists to use the Louise Sauvage pathway as a temporary alternative while Sekisui House works with Council to determine a longer-term solution.

Signs have been erected to alert and redirect cyclists and pedestrians along the alternative cycleway. We will advise as soon as alternative solutions are agreed on by Council.

As most would know, work has commenced on Sekisui House's new foreshore project on Hill Road. Some trees have been removed at the advice of an arborist, with Council approval. More suitable species of trees have been selected that will have less impact on the drainage system, and Sekisui House has committed to planting at minimum one new tree per apartment at the end of the construction period.
