The Orchards Open Day

17 December 2018

Sekisui House Australia opened the doors to one of its newest developments, welcoming the local community in at The Orchard’s Open Day. Over 280 people visited The Orchard’s on Saturday 8th December to get a sneak peak of the five fully styled apartments and take in the views of Norwest from its newest rooftop.

The Imperial building, the first stage of development at The Orchards, sits only weeks away from completion after a 12 month build. This Open Day was the first time the building has been widely open to the public and showcased multiple expertly styled apartments, helping interested buyers envision the lifestyle that these spacious apartments have to offer.

Edward Natour, project director at The Orchards said “The Open Day was about allowing visitors to truly experience what life could be like living in Imperial. Not only were all apartments and the rooftop entertaining styled to create a warm living environment, but those that attended the Open Day enjoyed complimentary a sausage sizzle and barista made coffee, giving insight to the type of community activities that residents can look forward to in the future.”

From the 280 people that visited the project a number of sales were initiated on the day and the details of multiple interested parties were taken down, many of whom were locals to the area, looking to buy their first home or downsize,” Mr Natour said.

Attendees were wowed by the quality of what Sekisui House has delivered in its development and the innovative design and layout of the apartments.

One of the major design features that visitors loved was the unique ‘flexi-room’ that many apartments feature. Sekisui House has responded to the need for flexible living spaces that adapt and evolve with residents and has created this innovative space that can be open plan or closed off to create an array of options to suit any home buyer.

Sekisui House Australia CEO and Managing Director, Mr Abe said Sekisui House was thrilled to have so many people visit the Imperial building Open day and is excited to start welcoming residents into The Orchards community.

Mr Abe was also happy to see that many existing Norwest residents came to the open day.
“We really want to create a sense of community beyond our masterplan and integrate facilities and spaces that the wider neighbourhood has access to in our later stages. We aim to develop not just a masterplan but a community that grows and supports those existing around it.”

Residents will be moving in to Imperial early 2019, around the same time Norwest Train Station along the Sydney Metro North West railway is due for completion.

For those who may have missed out on the Open Day, the Display Suite is open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 11am and 2pm. Located at 30 Fairway Drive, Norwest, The Orchards display features a full-sized two-bedroom apartment, an experiential immersion room with surround sound to showcase the lifestyle offerings and exciting range of amenity at The Orchards. A true homage to Sekisui House's core principles of including nature at the core of its build, a full grown citrus tree also sits planted in the centre of the suite, a sight to see on its own.

Imperial still has some apartments on offer, with one bedrooms starting from $648,000 two bedrooms from $748,000 and three-bedroom apartments from $1,450,00.
