With the continuing growth of Sekisui House Australia, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Manager, located at Ecco Ripley, QLD.
 
The Property Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of leasing activity and managing properties within Ripley Valley. Specific emphasis on:
  • Maximising rental revenues
  • Controlling operational costs
  • Taking due care for the interests on the property owners
  • Building a strong community fabric at each property
  • Adherence to real estate legislation and other areas of compliance
The role

The Property Manager is responsible for all business operations relating to the letting and building management including:
  • Liaison with owners and tenants
  • Internal audit of form 6 and form 18 agreements
  • Property advertising
  • Introduction and qualification of tenants
  • Property inspections
  • Trust account receipting and reconciliation
  • Handling of RTA bonds
  • Management of arrears
  • Tenancy breaches where necessary
  • Attendance at QCAT if required

Skills and experience

ESSENTIAL
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in property management
  • Minimum Property Management Registration
  • Console management of a Trust Account
  • Financial management experience in the property industry
  • Excellent written skills – including high level report writing
  • Driver’s licence
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster

COMPETENCIES
  • Financial reports to a high standard
