Gold class in RobecoSAM's sustainability ratings

On February 1, 2018, Sekisui House, Ltd. was awarded Gold Class, the highest rating in the Homebuilding category, in the 2018 RobecoSAM Sustainability Awards for the third consecutive year.

Headquartered in Switzerland, RobecoSAM AG is a world-class assessor of socially responsible investment (SRI) and provides investors with information on corporate sustainability.

Sekisui House was also certified as the Industry Mover, given that it had the largest improvement in the score from the previous year in the Homebuilding category.

In RobecoSAM’s assessment, approximately 2,500 of the world’s largest industries are evaluated for their economic, environmental and social practices, and the top scoring companies are selected for the Gold Class.

This year, Gold Class ratings were given to 73 companies, five of which were from Japan.
