Masterfully envisioned by the award-winning team at Rothelowman, Callista’s architectural design honours the precinct’s rich heritage and cosmopolitan character. The façade presents a rhythmic composition of depth and dimension, engaging with the ever-changing play of light across balconies and greenery. A warm, tactile material palette of natural stone, timber textures and soft-toned finishes grounds the residences within the streetscape. Expanses of glazing harvest an abundance of natural light while opening each residence to the city, the sky and the gardens below. Designed for retreat and connection alike, outdoor spaces flow directly from the interiors, offering a place to pause, gather and reconnect with nature.

Interiors & AMENITIES

Within Callista, interiors are shaped by a language of considered calm and timeless sophistication. Carefully curated finishes and tactile surfaces mirror the building’s sculptural exterior, fostering a natural continuity between inside and out. Engineered timber flooring, natural stone benchtops and soft, layered textures elevate everyday rituals, while ceiling fans and ducted air conditioning ensure comfort across all seasons.

Generous glazing draws in sunlight and reveals verdant outlooks, blurring the boundary between home and landscape. These sophisticated spaces are complemented by a suite of exclusive resident amenities from the lush rooftop garden and state-of-the-art wellness facilities to the elegant communal kitchen and luxurious pool. Whether retreating in solitude or entertaining loved ones, the residences offer a life truly unparalleled.

"In our latest endeavour, Callista, we embarked not just to build another structure, but to curate an enchanting experience. Callista is testament to our commitment to crafting spaces that elevate lives. Our aspiration is to seamlessly blend functionality with beauty, creating a haven where every detail enriches quality of life."

Framed by expansive glazing and generous balconies, each residence is designed to embrace the outdoors. Full-height sliding doors collapse the boundary between inside and out, allowing natural light and panoramic city views to flow effortlessly into the home. The architecture draws the view inward, transforming Brisbane’s skyline and treetop canopy into a living backdrop. Here, the home feels open, grounded and attuned to its setting.

An ode to form and function, the butler’s pantry is purposeful and beautifully resolved. Concealed just beyond the kitchen, it offers generous space to prepare, organise and store — supporting a way of living that is as considered as it is effortless. Finished in the same refined palette as the surrounding interiors, it allows the kitchen to remain open and composed. Here, practicality is shaped by design, creating a space that is intentional, elegant and deeply intuitive.

An Urban Sanctuary

In the bedrooms, loop pile wool carpet adds softness underfoot, while generous glazing draws soft natural light into each space. Built-in walk-in robes provide functional storage and are thoughtfully integrated into the architectural language of the home. Refined bathrooms continue the same high-end materiality, with dual natural stone vanities, mirrored cabinetry and full-height tiling creating a serene and polished space from dawn to dusk. Frameless glass showers, elegant tapware and freestanding bathtubs elevate the experience. Designed with function and feeling in mind, these spaces elevate a lifestyle that is relaxed, refined and deeply considered.

West Village is a Six Star Green Star Community.

Awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia, this is the country’s highest rating for a master-planned precinct and promotes practices which are sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Compostable Packaging

All of the eateries at West Village are encouraged to use take-away packaging which can be easily composted or recycled. Food waste and compostable packaging from each venue is then collected and processed through our organic waste pulping system.

icon2

Organic Waste Pulping System

West Village features an onsite organic waste pulping system. The innovative Pulpmaster Australia system converts organic materials into soils and fertilisers, minimising the use of water and power during the process.

icon3

Reducing Food Waste

Collecting food waste and unsold food at West Village means that up to 85% of the food waste from the precinct gets reused or composted. This is better for the environment than sending food waste to landfill, where it breaks down and emits gases such as carbon dioxide and methane, contributing to climate change.

icon4

Grey Water Treatment Plant

West Village has a grey water treatment plant onsite, reducing reliance on water mains. The grey water (collected from laundries and showers) is sourced from two of the precinct’s residential buildings, is treated, and then is used to irrigate gardens and for flushing toilets in the retail centre.

icon5

Renewable Energy

West Village generates some of its own energy from the sun. A 23.5 kW solar power system on the roof of The Eaves building near The Common provides some of the power to light our public spaces. Solar panels on residential buildings also provide power to shared building services.

icon6

Sustainable Transport

Public bike racks are located in several locations at West Village to promote sustainable transport. Four electric vehicle charging stations and a GoGet car share service are located on Basement 1 in the public West Village carpark, where an End-of-Trip facility provides showers, lockers and secure bike parking for tenants and staff.

Butterfly Food Source

The Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Vine is grown in several locations throughout West Village. It is a natural food source for the Richmond Birdwing butterfly, the largest sub-tropical butterfly in Australia and a vulnerable species. Growing the Butterfly Vine at West Village has the potential to increase the population of this beautiful butterfly.

Green Spaces

In an urban environment like Brisbane, a “heat island” can be created when materials such as bitumen and concrete absorb and hold the sun’s heat rather than reflect it. To counteract the heat island effect at West Village, around half the site plan is covered with water features, green spaces, and materials which reflect heats. Around 100 mature trees and more than 10,000 plants are growing at West Village.
