A new chapter is about to unfold at Melrose Park with the highly anticipated Melrose Central is expected to open this July, bringing a mix of retail, dining and everyday convenience to the community.
Positioned as the future hub of Melrose Park, the town centre will deliver a retail precinct spanning 30,000sqm, designed to support the growing number of residents while creating a lively destination for the broader region.
Melrose Central will feature over 90 retailers across dining, retail, lifestyle and family entertainment, including a 4,000sqm full-line Coles supermarket, Dan Murphy’s and Terry White Chemmart.

A key highlight will be the introduction of an Asian-inspired street food precinct, set to become a major drawcard for locals and visitors alike. Featuring a mix of eateries and casual dining options, the precinct will offer a rich variety of cuisines and flavours, creating a lively and social dining experience throughout the day and into the evening.
Beyond dining, the town centre has been designed as a place for connection and community. With pedestrian friendly streets, landscaped public spaces and direct integration with Central Park, it will encourage residents to walk, gather and spend time locally. The centre will also include four levels of parking with approximately 770 spaces.

The opening of the town centre marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Melrose Park, transforming it into a self-contained neighbourhood where residents can live, work, shop and socialise in one location.
