Melrose Park Village comes together

Melrose Park Village came alive as more than 450 residents and guests gathered for a Meet Your Neighbours event, celebrating the completion and opening of this new community. 

Held within the beautifully landscaped internal courtyard, the event marked a major milestone for Melrose Park Village, home to 421 apartments. Residents enjoyed an evening of complimentary food and drinks, live music and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere designed to bring neighbours together.

Families were out in full force, with children enjoying face painting, balloon twisting and a visit from the Easter Bunny, while residents connected with one another and embraced the growing sense of community. The courtyard was filled with laughter, conversation and even a number of four-legged friends, highlighting Melrose Park’s pet-friendly lifestyle.

Marketing Manager Jing Pan said the event was a reflection of the strong community spirit already forming within Melrose Park Village.

“It was great to see so many residents come together to celebrate this important milestone. Melrose Park has always been designed with community at its heart and events like this bring that vision to life by creating opportunities for people to connect and build relationships,” she said.

The evening also included a number of giveaways with vouchers from Occom Internet and Villaggio, the newest restaurant at Ryde Parramatta Golf Club, along with two hampers, adding to the positive atmosphere.

For many residents, the event provided a valuable opportunity to meet neighbours and feel part of something bigger. First home buyer Adrian, who has been living at Melrose Park Village since October, said the community has exceeded expectations.

“It is perfect for us with its proximity to Eastwood Shopping Centre and public transport close by to access the city. There is a strong communal feel, and it is pet friendly for our pug. Tonight had a great family friendly vibe. We met several new neighbours and hope these types of events will continue,” he said.

With strong attendance and positive feedback from residents, the Meet Your Neighbours event has set the tone for future community gatherings, reinforcing Melrose Park Village as a connected, welcoming and thriving place to call home.
