New roads named
Celebrate the area’s rich cultural and horticultural history
09 December 2025
Construction of the new internal road network at Melrose Park is progressing well, with DSA Contracting appointed to deliver these important council assets.
Following consultation between Sekisui House Australia, City of Parramatta Council, the community and the Geographical Names Board, all new roads have now officially been named.
They celebrate the area’s rich cultural and horticultural history with names such as Hildergarde Boulevard, Sea Eagle Walk, Golden Champion Street and Nursery Street reflecting the masterplan’s connection to local aviation heritage, native wildlife and former orchards.
Roads surrounding the future Melrose Centre Town Centre are scheduled for completion in early Q2 2026, while a new connection from Hope Street through to Victoria Road via Bundil Boulevard will open in early Q3 2026. Remaining roads will be progressively delivered through 2026, with the full network complete by mid-2027, enhancing connectivity across the community.
