Brand new Primary School at The Hermitage by Sekisui House on 30 01 2020 in The Hermitage There was plenty of ironed uniforms, new lunchboxes, big smiles and proud parents at The Hermitage yesterday with the first day of school at the brand new Gledswood Hills Primary School. The school had a special guest with NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian touring, who commented how impressive the school was, with the library being a highlight. The purpose-built school has been designed to cater to current and anticipated enrolment growth in the area and offers 24 flexible learning spaces that can cater for up to 1,000 students. Additional features include a state of the art library, basketball and multi-purpose courts and a school hall incorporating before and after school care facilities plus special program rooms. A slippery slide is even installed between the courts and lower grassed areas. The Sekisui House team were lucky enough to get a tour of the school prior to opening and are immensely proud of the infrastructure and amenities being delivered at The Hermitage and the connected, flourishing community evolving at the premier masterplanned estate. Residents and the community are reminded to be mindful of the new 40km/h School Zone speed limits that came into effect Tuesday January 28th along sections of The Hermitage Way, Providence Drive & Paramoor Street.
