When Steven and Nymol Popovich recently purchased their brand new SHAWOOD residence at The Hermitage, Gledswood Hills, they received a very pleasant surprise, celebrated as being the 1,000th purchasers to call the Sekisui House Master planned community home.

The team at Sekisui House recently celebrated the milestone achievement with Steven, Nymol, and their sons with the presentation of an elaborate package for their family.

The 1,000th sale is a significant milestone, for The Hermitage’s 320-hectare master planned community that is already home  to over 2,500 residents and will eventually comprise over 2,000 dwellings, right in the heart of Sydney’s ever expanding South-west.

Featuring over 150ha of open space, including dedicated parklands and a 27-hole golfing precinct with a premiere nine-hole course designed and constructed by Greg Norman, it is easy to see why The Hermitage has been such a highly sought-after choice for homebuyers.

General Manager Craig D’Costa explains “We are delighted to welcome the Popovich family to The Hermitage. Sekisui House are incredibly proud of how The Hermitage is continuing to mature as a new community with representation from a diverse spectrum of family structures and age demographics. We continue to strive in delivering projects of high quality and value, through thoughtful, considered and purposeful design.

Some of those plans include the future Gledswood Hills Public school which will eventually accommodate approximately 1,000 students, with first classes expected to be operational in 2021. We are also in the pre DA planning phase of the proposed Gledswood Village, which is set to become the authentic civic heart of The Hermitage community. The village will provide a great new local destination for the Camden region, comprising a multilayered precinct it will deliver a diverse range of retail, entertainment and community services.

For the Popovich family, they are looking forward to making full use of The Hermitage’s convenient amenities. “We love the way our home has been designed, as well as the overall masterplan of The Hermitage estate. It’s a beautiful place for our boys to grow up, and our new SHAWOOD home is something we can grow into over the years.  This is a place I am going to look forward to coming home to every day, . We couldn’t be happier,” Steven adds.

The master architect-designed SHAWOOD home is the Popovich family’s third property purchase, who are familiar with the Sekisui House customer experience as their very first property purchase was also designed and built by Sekisui House in the form of an off the plan apartment at Wentworth Point.

“It’s been such a smooth and enjoyable journey, from start to finish. We just can’t wait to be living in our new home,” says Steven.

Soon after seeing the SHAWOOD displays at The Hermitage  for the first time, the Popovich’s purchased their new home, which is set over two expansive levels and features four bedrooms and luxurious living areas flooded with natural light, overlooking the nearby Buckingham Park.

“Initially, we weren’t even set on buying a new home,” says Steven. “But then we saw the new SHAWOOD homes when driving through The Hermitage and it got our attention. We just knew it had to be our forever family home.”
