Gledswood Village community update sessions

by Sekisui House on 06 09 2017 in The Hermitage

The Hermitage Team would like to thank those who attended the Gledswood Village community update sessions last week. We enjoyed meeting with you and found the feedback very useful. We hope you found the sessions useful and informative as well.

We received some great feedback and support from our residents and understandably, we also received some questions, particularly around the size of the proposed village and possible traffic and parking implications. We will continue to engage on these and other matters on the project as part of our ongoing communication with the community.

A total of 83 people attended and it was encouraging to see such strong support for the overall vision for Gledswood Village.

If you were unable to attend the sessions, the information boards presented can be viewed here. Should you want to provide feedback on the vision for Gledswood Village, please contact the Sales and Information Centre for a copy of the feedback form.

Alternatively, if you would like to discuss the Village with the project team, email us at info@thehermitagesydney.com.au and we would be pleased to meet with you to explain the proposed vision.

The amendments to the current planning controls applying to Gledswood Village are on public exhibition until Tuesday 3 October 2017. These amendments are essential for the vision for Gledswood Village to materialise. Following the closure of the public exhibition period, Council will review any submissions received and decide whether or not to proceed.

We will keep the community updated on this accordingly.
