Leading residential property developer and builder, Sekisui House, has struck a deal with international golf champion and entrepreneur, Greg Norman, to design and build a premium golf course at its award-winning masterplanned estate, The Hermitage in Gledswood Hills.

Greg Norman executed the agreement with Sekisui House Limited Executive Vice President, Sumio Wada, Sekisui House CEO and Managing Director, Toru Abe.

The new golf course is a collaboration between Sekisui House, Greg Norman Golf Course Design and club operator, Wests Campbelltown, to design and construct a brand new 9-hole course and driving range within the 300 hectare estate in Sydney’s south-west.

The 9-hole, Par 3 course will be the only golf course in Sydney to be designed and constructed by the Norman group, unique and exclusive to The Hermitage.

Stretching over 1,365 metres, with an average distance of 152 metres for each hole, the golf course will also include a commercial driving range and practice facilities for golfing enthusiasts to enjoy.

Sekisui House’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities at The Hermitage masterplanned community will see them spend in excess of $11 million dollars on the golfing precinct.

Construction is anticipated to commence in mid-2016, with a public opening earmarked for early 2018.
