Bearded Bakers at The Orchards Norwest

11 February 2019

Sekisui House Australia opened to its first residents, the Bearded Bakers, for one day only, at The Orchards Norwest.

Moving in for one day only, the Bearded Bakers brought their pop-up Bakery to our completed Imperial building and helped celebrate the end of construction for Phase 1 of this masterplanned community on 10th February 2019.

Over 1,000 people attended the Sunday afternoon event with a healthy mix of Hills locals and potential buyers making up the crowd. Five fully styled apartments were available for viewing on the day. Foot traffic through these was constantly high with over 400 attendees checking out the apartments on offer.

Paul Wainwright, Sales and Marketing Operation Manager at Sekisui House, noted that the crowd was “predominantly first home buyers with a few downsizers from the local area too”.

“Many of the property viewers were absolutely blown away by the project. Almost everyone was impressed by how spacious the apartments were. Imperial’s unique one bedroom plus flexi space was the most popular apartment on the day with every visitor envisioning how they could adapt the large flexi room to suit their individual needs and lifestyle.”

Making buying a property sweeter than ever the Bearded Bakers sold Knafeh, their signature middle eastern dessert from their shipping container set up at the top of The Orchards new road ‘Spurway Drive’.  Future residents, those in the housing market and locals from the area all enjoyed the day and dancing continued into the early evening.

The Orchards Norwest will be officially opening its doors to more residents in the coming weeks. If you are interested into moving into this masterplanned community, please click here to make an enquiry.
