Melrose Park Construction Update – October 2026

Melrose Park continues to make significant progress, with new homes, retail, parks and infrastructure all coming together to create a vibrant new community in Sydney's north-west.

Melrose Central has become the heart of the community, offering convenient access to Coles, Dan Murphy's, World Gym, an Asian-inspired dining precinct and more than 99 retailers and services.

One of the most exciting milestones currently underway is Central Park, a key feature of the Melrose Park precinct, is progressing well and remains on track for completion before Christmas 2026. The park forms part of more than 50,000 square metres of open space and will feature playgrounds, picnic areas, barbecue facilities and landscaped parkland for residents and visitors to enjoy. Construction activity remains strong across the Dawn and Aeris residential developments.

At Dawn, basement works are now complete, with construction progressing above ground and on track for completion in early 2028.

At Aeris, Building C has reached Level 1 and Building A is nearing ground level, with completion targeted for late 2028. Residents will enjoy views across Central Park and access to premium resort-style amenities including a podium pool, outdoor cinema, gymnasium, multiple barbecue areas and landscaped gardens.

Looking ahead, Melrose Park is entering one of its most exciting periods of growth. Alongside the opening of Central Park, the new Melrose Park High School and upgraded primary school are expected to welcome students in Term 1, 2027. Major transport infrastructure is also progressing, including Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 and the new Parramatta River bridge. Once complete, these projects will strengthen connections between Melrose Park, Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park, making it even easier for residents to live, work and connect.
