Today, leading residential property developer and home builder Sekisui House Australia announced its acquisition of a 36-hectare master planned estate in Calderwood, New South Wales.
The new site is a strategic acquisition for Sekisui House Australia, as it continues its expansion in sought-after locations along the New South Wales eastern seaboard, following a series of coastal acquisitions announced earlier this year. Commencing construction in 2023, Sekisui House will deliver more than 450 properties, with the majority expected to offer its flagship housing product SHAWOOD. Synonymous with all SHAWOOD residences, luxuriously appointments, energy efficiency and lifestyle inclusions will be at the core of their design.

The Calderwood site will be one of Sekisui House’s largest estates in its portfolio having successfully completed several large-scale residential developments in Australia since its incorporation in 2009.
In line with Sekisui House’s philosophy, the site will be developed to respect the natural characteristics of the land, embodying the rolling hillsides and commanding views of the Illawarra escarpment, Calderwood Valley and Lake Illawarra.
