Once a vision of owning a large family home with a big backyard and pool, residents of Australia's biggest city are now dreaming of achieving financial freedom and independence, as well as spending quality time with loved ones and friends. 

Based on researched findings, apartment living has been put forward as a streamlined pathway to living this new Australian dream by freeing up both money and time.

Apartment owners are said to save $3,713 and 270 hours a year on home maintenance as compared to detached homeowners.
