Sekisui House acquires key site in Baulkham Hills, NSW
Sekisui House Australia has acquired an 8.1 hectare site located beside the picturesque fairways of the Castle Hill Country Club in Baulkham Hills to develop a master-planned residential community.
Positioned to benefit from considerable infrastructure investment in north west Sydney’s key growth corridor and at the heart of the North West Rail Link project, the site is located at 47 Spurway Drive, Baulkham Hills, just 250 metres from the Norwest Business Park, 600 metres of the Norwest railway station and less than an hour’s commute to the CBD and airport.
Sekisui House Australia’s vision for the project is to develop a sustainable and prosperous community with enhanced amenity in a high quality mixed use residential development.
A key aspect of the development will be the integration of landscaping into the masterplan concept that respects the natural qualities of the site.
Paul Wainwright, Sekisui House Australia’s Sales & Marketing Operations Manager commented “The acquisition of this exceptional development land marks the start of a new era for Baulkham Hills and Norwest. As the construction of the North West Rail Link continues at pace, we intend to create a masterplanned community set within beautifully landscaped gardens and natural forest. We plan to showcase our inherent values of developing ecologically sound communities where residents can entertain, play, reflect and energise with easy access to Central Sydney and beyond.
“We have a genuine commitment to creating environments that engender a real sense of community. Superior design, innovation, quality materials and workmanship applied in both the built form as well as the landscape elements combine to create a harmonious sense of belonging, both emotionally and physically. It will be a new aspirational community that is unique to the Hills district,” Mr Wainwright added.
Appreciating the hugely positive impact the North West Rail Link will have on Sydney and the growing population to the West (predicted at one million over the next two decades), Sekisui House Australia recognised Baulkham Hills as a key growth area with strong employment and transport links.
“We look forward to creating a vibrant estate with a high level of amenity for residents and the local community. With Norwest Business Park, one of the largest employment precincts in Sydney and Norwest train station at our doorstep, residents will be immediately connected with existing community and future transport links,” Mr Wainwright said.
